Parent Interview Participants
ParenTheses interviews parent interview participants to collect their thoughts on their child’s school. We compile parent feedback in a write-up that we include in the relevant school’s report. Prior to including parent feedback in a school report, we provide parents ample opportunity to review and edit the write-up. This gives parents the opportunity to take out any information that they do not wish to include. After repeated attempts to contact a parent, if a parent does not reply or does not provide their feedback, we will consider this the equivalent of a parent’s consent to include the write-up as is. However, we will inform the parent regarding this intention.
ParenTheses is the sole owner of the output of these interviews, i.e., the write-ups that are included in the relevant school reports. We share the parent’s profile, child’s schooling background and high-level review from every write-up on our website. We share the school reports with customers who wish to purchase this information. In addition, we may share aggregated feedback on the school with the relevant school’s administration. This feedback will mask the parents’profiles (and their children’s schooling) altogether. If we choose to do this, the purpose will be to provide general feedback to the school on strengths and areas for improvement.
